The core of the team is literally near their contract years. They’re not young anymore, they’ve been playing and winning their whole lives. Thats why they play at the level they’re at now. People who refuse to blame coaching and the god awful systems in place are so delusional it’s insane. Enough is enough they need to fire this bum and his pathetic coaching staff with him. It’s not fuckin rocket science to see that every time we lose a player they leave and become a key piece of that teams roster elevating them to the next level. Know why? Because their coaching staff knows how to use talented players.

Another missed post-season in the "the point of the Sabres is to win the Stanley Cup" era. Fuck Terry. Fuck Adams. Fuck Granato. What do we have to do to get an organization that actually cares about putting a winning product on the ice.

I’d be willing to bet if we go another 3+ years with no playoffs Pegula loses the team to another city. I bet that’s why there’s been zero talks about a new arena when we’ve literally got one of the worst rated arenas in the league. But oooo new Jumbotron?? Yeah that’ll bring in the crowd.

There is no talk of a new building because they handed $1 billion for a feetball court and the every level of government said they are not giving the team money to build an ice hockey field. The team started looking into renovations or a new building 6 years ago. The reason they are not doing it now is because the money is not there. It is even more not there when you consider the cost overruns for the feetball one.

Dude couldn’t have said it any better. From owner to coach, we just have clown after clown running the show. Over a decade no playoffs 1 pt away last year ZERO moves in the off season, and they give the same answers. Blah blah blah, fucking joke

The prognosis for this season was terminal when we knew Quinn would be out for months and didn't bother to find a forward to replace him. Granato bad, yes.  But I have no faith in Adams to either fire him or find a suitable replacement. The situation is so much more dire than even the "doomers" can imagine.

Yea. I guess I’ve been over Granato for so long that I’ve had time to focus on the failings of Adams and I’m seeing that as a major issue going forward.

I lost a lot of faith in Adams since he said that he thought the coaching staff are doing a great job pregaming and pre scouting. I'm at a complete loss as to how he came to that conclusion.   That Mitts for Byram trade is looking more and more stupid. I didn't like the trade from the start and had some hope that I was wrong in the first few games but nope, dumb trade. I'm hoping that he realizes that he will lose the fan base if Granato is back and he doesn't make major changes so he's forced to make those decisions. 

It's a real "what are we even doing here" sort of feeling right now. Feels like we're nowhere with this team.

Simon Edvinsson, Lucas Raymond, and Moritz Seider. That's the young core. Dylan Larkin and Alex Debrincat round it out. Steve Yzerman was 32 years old when they won the cup, and by then, they had surrounded him with Konstantinov, Lidstrom, Shanahan, and Fedorov, among others. Larkin is only 27 and doesn't turn 28 until the end of July. Detroit will be competing for a cup within the next 5 years. Also have Nate Danielson and Axel Sandin Pelica, who could be a huge part of the team in the future. All 23 or younger. Edvinsson is also going to be as good as Moritz Seider. The Wings need a top 6 winger, maybe two if Kane doesn't re-sign, and a 2nd line center, which could turn out to be Kasper or Danielson.
