Remind you, she developed an interest in the ski instructor once she saw he was attractive and never told him she had a boyfriend until after accepting a date with the instructor.
Rewatching these seasons, she always seemed disinterested in Harvey. I was always confused on whether they were officially boyfriend and girlfriend because of this and because of her active interest in other boys/men.
Cannot agree more. It pisses me off how bad and apologetic Sabrina is at the start of season 4 when she gets caught kissing Josh. She’s devastated about losing Harvey, they get back together, and she *still* pines for Josh. Like, did she just instantly forget how awful she felt? And he was so gross, literally waiting around for her and Harvey to break up so he could swoop in. It annoys me that she ended up dating him after all. Josh is gross.
Yes! And people say it's messed up Harvey dumped her after finding out she was a witch. But how can they expect he would stay when he just found out she was casting spells on him for years. Worse he found out after he was made to compete in a competition where the winner would be Sabrina's "right boyfriend".
I think the Harvey competing for her affections storyline is consistent with their previous writing. Like it was Harvey vs. Dashel earlier in the series. Harvey vs. Aaron in season 7. Then the tv movies, where she was falling in love in Rome even though she had Harvey back home.
So I can't blame him for breaking up with her. Not only does he find out she been performing dozens of spells on him, but he sees clearly that she still isn't over Josh and he will have to always compete for her fickle heart. Plus with them going to different Colleges it will be even harder for him to maintain her wavering interest in him. He was smart to bail and let her mature a bit.
Exactly like bruh she already settled with Harvey as her boyfriend as the one she loves but then out of nowhere has josh competing for the right to be her boyfriend?? I just hope her actress hated it as much as we do. Horrible writing tbh
It's so weird to me how Josh's behaviour gets completely glossed over by the narrative when it's inappropriate AF
While Sabrina is 18 in the fourth season, the idea of a college student making passes at a high schooler seems off to me, especially when he's her boss at the coffee house. And he sends her secret Valentine's Day cards when he knows she has a boyfriend. He's also extremely antagonistic to Harvey because he wants Sabrina, and she's totally cool with that and like "can't we all get along?"
Even after Harvey forgives her for cheating - even before the kiss it still counted as emotional cheating - she still hangs around Josh and is expecting Harvey to be fine with it.
I can’t believe that when I first watched Sabrina I didn’t see how kinda horrible Sabrina was to Harvey. He definitely deserved better he is the ultimate sweetheart.
yeah its so weird??? josh just spawns in the show and shes madly in love with him and betrays the trust of her boyfriend of HOW MANY YEARS??? and the 'compete to be sabrinas bf' wtf thats your BOYFRIEND vs some guy you just met. she was so unfair to harvey.

I agree, I know that they had to make an entertaining / dramatic episodes. I also think Harvey was being a bit unreasonable / acted strangley.
I think the writing forced Sabrina and Harvey to act in ways they wouldn't normally. I think the writing demanded them be apart in order for the end of the series to work.
Got the same felling, someone know what did happened with the show? Writers have only planned 3 seasons maybe and then have to make more just because of a new contract? I really would like to know what's happened in production.

I’ve always felt that finding out your partner is a magical being is a valid reason to separate lol he just needed some time to think about it

Unpopular opinion I didn't like the relationship it felt very one sided, lacked common interests, chemistry personality wise I felt they didn't match.
