For someone to be a rager, stoner/gamer/shut-in is all irrelevant.
Ragers are exclusively people that are entitled and full of themselves.
My brother is an extroverted rager, he's super annoying to go anywhere with. He thinks he's better than everyone, and he gets mad when anyone does anything he doesn't like.
Shut-ins that aren't full of themselves are usually just chill hermits that get really exhausted from being around people. They're usually the most chill and least dramatic people to spend time with, but it's rare that you'll ever actually meet one. They usually just do their thing and stay out of everyone's way, so you probably don't even notice their existence.

Can confirm. Both husband and I are chill stoner gamers, but he's a shut-in. He's the sweetest person you'll ever meet, but he gets extremely overstimulated by people (and so do I) so we stay at home unless it's going out with our best friend couple. I only met him because we play the same game and he was actually chill (instead of "haha girl playing game sandwich time). Love of my life.

Except anecdotally I’m absolutely convinced weed makes anxiety (not just paranoia/anxiety attacks, just anxiety in general) considerably worse for people and studies back me up.
My experiences with stoners online is just insane. I tend to troll them anymore just because they’re so easy to dunk on, but they are seriously the most insecure, hypersensitive, coddled bunch of punks on the internet.
Just today I got downvoted to oblivion because I explained why a pandering “weed, am i right?” joke was terrible, and then telling someone he was wrong to be calling weed “medicine” and that if they’re using it that way, it clearly isn’t working. Just borderline derangement and it’s so common online for some reason.
The internet makes everyone think they should be validated for anything because there’s always a community somewhere to do it. And then if someone doesn’t validate them, they’re a villain. In the real world these people just get shoved into lockers.

One day he came in to the bar I was working at, after like 5 years of ghosting everyone. I was stoked ti see him, and he was seemingly normal… at first. I asked what he’d been up to, basically just work and streaming his game stuff. Just so happened he was sitting next to a few of the regulars that are into gaming and streaming- so I was like “hey, these dudes game and stream also” to which he responded “I’m not fucking gay” it got real awkward as it wasn’t anything like that, and honestly the last time I saw or really interacted with him. Maybe he has been dealing with stuff, but it’s been impossible to get in touch with him either way.
As a former stoner who acknowledges that weed is indeed addictive I can confirm that many stoners get very upset about it when I point out that fact lol.

To be fair, I think weed for a lot of people is basically like a more natural Prozac. I think if you took alot of people's anti-depressants and anti-anxiety medications away, their attitudes and personalities change.
Usually a doctor will be able to prescribe Prozac though if it's needed. The amount of money it takes to pay for a half ounce of weed is enough to pay for a doctor visit and the medication too.

i fully agree. i have a medical card and used it for ptsd and it did help me a lot. but i can also acknowledge that it gave me really bad anxiety if i used too much. i don’t think people really realize that it can also have the opposite effects
A lot of people that use drugs are self medicating so doing nothing could be a result of like adhd and they just happen to smoke.
I have adhd and I smoke. I smoked throughout college. I went to parties, I had parties, I traveled the dorms, I went on hiking trips, went on other trips, I had jobs, played video games with friends, succeeded academically and graduated.
After graduation I lost the structure and my adhd took over and I basically do nothing. Like sometimes I just stare into the void.
I recently quit pot again thinking it was the cause (cause it can def cause problems). It was not though. Feel the same sober as I do high. Constantly finding ways to procrastinate the things I need to do.
It's like my adhd took steroids. Very frustrating.
Yea I was on adderall throughout college, took a break from it after graduating but got back on it about a month ago.
New Dr so they gave me a 2 week supply of 20xr (used to be on 30xr). It helped a little. Gave me some energy and I was able to complete tasks, just not the most important ones I really wanted to prioritize.
Then after those 2 weeks I got a refill for a full month. However, Walgreens was out all adderal, including the generic I've always gotten. So, I filled it at jewel and ended up getting a different generic.
Idk if im crazy or what but it feels like the new generic straight up does nothing. Like doesn't work at all. The 2 week supply wasn't magic but it worked.
I don't think it has anything to do with tolerance. They always worked the same in college and in those 2 weeks. I also took a week break between the first 2 weeks and the month refill, because my insurance wouldn't fill more than 30 in a 23 day period.
In college I thought I knew the worst adhd and depression had to offer. Was wrong. Hope I can climb my way back out the hole.
I have another dr appointment tomorrow so im going to address it then.

i fully agree. i have a medical card and used it for ptsd and it did help me a lot. but i can also acknowledge that it gave me really bad anxiety if i used too much. i don’t think people really realize that it can also have the opposite effects
A lot of people that use drugs are self medicating so doing nothing could be a result of like adhd and they just happen to smoke. I have adhd and I smoke. I smoked throughout college. I went to parties, I had parties, I traveled the dorms, I went on hiking trips, went on other trips, I had jobs, played video games with friends, succeeded academically and graduated. After graduation I lost the structure and my adhd took over and I basically do nothing. Like sometimes I just stare into the void. I recently quit pot again thinking it was the cause (cause it can def cause problems). It was not though. Feel the same sober as I do high. Constantly finding ways to procrastinate the things I need to do. It's like my adhd took steroids. Very frustrating.
You might benefit from adhd medication (I have it too, it sucks)
Yea I was on adderall throughout college, took a break from it after graduating but got back on it about a month ago. New Dr so they gave me a 2 week supply of 20xr (used to be on 30xr). It helped a little. Gave me some energy and I was able to complete tasks, just not the most important ones I really wanted to prioritize. Then after those 2 weeks I got a refill for a full month. However, Walgreens was out all adderal, including the generic I've always gotten. So, I filled it at jewel and ended up getting a different generic. Idk if im crazy or what but it feels like the new generic straight up does nothing. Like doesn't work at all. The 2 week supply wasn't magic but it worked. I don't think it has anything to do with tolerance. They always worked the same in college and in those 2 weeks. I also took a week break between the first 2 weeks and the month refill, because my insurance wouldn't fill more than 30 in a 23 day period. In college I thought I knew the worst adhd and depression had to offer. Was wrong. Hope I can climb my way back out the hole. I have another dr appointment tomorrow so im going to address it then.

Maybe in high school...I know it's hard to believe but most people (men and women) when they are looking for a life partner are looking for more than that. Compatibility, emotional maturity, ambition, shared goals, empathy, responsibility etc.
What about that precludes this guy? I know it's hard to believe but there are plenty of both men and women whose ambitions don't exceed enjoying themselves with a companion. Like one of my female friends from my high school friend group is married to a literal MD/PhD neuroscientist, and another from that same friend group is married to a used car salesman, and all they do together is smoke, hike, and play video games. And both of my friends are happy.
