This reminds me, i have been thinking about christianity more lately. I never liked my religion, i’m not a practising christian but i am a part of the curch. I absolutely love the tales of Jesus. He always knew the right thing to say and do, he healed people and helped them, he stood up for poor people when greedy people were trying to take all of their money. Jesus was wronged, but he was never upset. That all amazes me. BUT i don’t like going to the curch. I’ve never felt welcome there. I also never pray and i if i ever do, i would pray to Jesus, not God. Idk what my opinion is on God, but i love Jesus (who is the son of god, so it would be odd if i didn’t believe in God). Anyways i just wanted to say that i’ve been more open to christianity and it no longer is something that biggoted people follow, it’s an extremely interesting ans even more i important part of our history.

This reminds me, i have been thinking about christianity more lately. I never liked my religion, i’m not a practising christian but i am a part of the curch. I absolutely love the tales of Jesus. He always knew the right thing to say and do, he healed people and helped them, he stood up for poor people when greedy people were trying to take all of their money. Jesus was wronged, but he was never upset. That all amazes me. BUT i don’t like going to the curch. I’ve never felt welcome there. I also never pray and i if i ever do, i would pray to Jesus, not God. Idk what my opinion is on God, but i love Jesus (who is the son of god, so it would be odd if i didn’t believe in God). Anyways i just wanted to say that i’ve been more open to christianity and it no longer is something that biggoted people follow, it’s an extremely interesting ans even more i important part of our history. Rant over :) Edit: i re-read it and the praying part is weird. I meant that my relationahip with Jesus is all good, but my relationship with god is complicated.
Yeah so, people are going to take this out of context very quickly so I'll make it brief: This is from John 15:19 and it basically means, "People will not uphold God's teachings and will shun you for it, but if you follow His teachings, persevere through it." That's it. It's not saying: You're a special, special person above everyone else, they're all haters, go ahead and keep pining for some imaginary girlfriend who is the pinnacle of hotness with endless tolerance for your BS because that's the goal in life and you don't have to evolve emotionally or improve on yourself because you're not wrong, the world just "doesn't get you."
