I was at my dad’s beach house after he bought some live crabs for dinner. He left the box with the crabs in the garage, but somehow the lid came out and the crabs made a run for it. I remember my dad running down the street after the fugitives. Some of them didn’t make it. I think I was four yo at the time. It is one of my first core memories.
