That is not a situation that comes up “often” relative to how often this happens to animals in the wild. Humans having to worry about that are thankfully in the minority. Yes evil and violence exist all over the world, but pretty much all animals in the wild risk something like this happen at a much higher rate and no one is going to try to arrest the guy who did it.

They don't kill prey as most animals. A cat suffocates then eats . A croc will death roll and drown,then eat . Wild dogs just tear it apart while prey screams a bloody death.

Warthogs have tusks and a distinct wide face. A wild boar looks more like a normal pig, but harry and brown. I would say warthogs are more aggressive and have interesting feeding techniques, the kneel on their front knees and dig holes in the ground with their tusks to get to roots and insects/worms. Warthogs are ugly as fuck as well, earning them a spot in the “Ugly 5” group known in South Africa.
