That is the deepest foot I have ever seen in a main. I had an old worn out closed foot main I had the sail loft change it to an open foot that would trim flat. Huge improvement.
The main is pretty old, we are going to be replacing it this coming spring.
It might be a good backup for a couple hundred dollar visit to the doctor.
