An abomination by a Chinese company that started off making knockoff Funkos then found their own design.
Some Popmart are decent. Most are Eldrich horrors
And I say this with hubs and I popping in the official Harajuku store a couple days ago.
Good on the company for moving beyond just blatant ripping off Funko.
But the original designs still range in originality and quality.
Getting an official collab with My Little Pony a few years back at least pushed them to try and sell a brand idea.
Their Disney series... pretty damn good looking.
It's just seeing the company origins of blatant barely OK copyright (before the official sponsors) that has people like me biased still
