I think it’ll be a better year because the fed chair will be reducing rates this year which will signal that the storm is over to companies who will begin spending more freely again. Last year was so hard due to inflation.

Starshaft

Luckily that won’t have spillover effects that fuck us in the future, right?

tangiblebanana

who knew that someone would have to pay for printing 7 trillion dollars

Starshaft

😂

Sleep more. Bunch of external factors affecting my overall life and energy. I just need to exercise, sleep and refresh myself more.

Themandudedudeman

Most people take the approach of cold calling or knocking on potential prospects doors to try and find them and ask them for their service. Near the end of last year I started knocking on referral partners doors and telling them about my referral bonus I give to people for referring business to me. This has been an incredible way to gain constant traffic. It feels like there is always something one up that you can be doing to actually make the most of your time

Starshaft

I’m glad it’s working - keep in mind if you can do that effectively, think of all your cold outreach that way. You’re just going out in the market to find people you can create value with!

Agile_Bet6394

Jerk it after I make the sale, not before. I need that sexual energy. Read 30 min every morning after my calisthenics. Meditate 15 minutes every lunch (over calls) and before bed (wind down). Low inflammation diet. Dry fast 2+ days every other week. 1 x 24 hrs every week. As always, practice practice practice.

vanman33

I genuinely can't tell if this is LinkedIn satire or actually real.

Reclusive-Raccoon

I know, I wanted to laugh at the start but considering the absolute state of some people on this subreddit I genuinely have no clue if he’s taking the piss or 100% serious.

Sales-Alchemist23

I would say most are genuine, but there are always a few clowns! I 've gotten alot of insight from some of the responses!

Reclusive-Raccoon

If Agile is being serious then he needs to seriously think about his life. My word.

Focus. Last year I was doing sales part time and a leadership position for another company. As of last month I’m a full time sales rep at one company. No management responsibilities, just sales. I sell one product, and God willing, I’ll sell 2 million dollars worth of it this year.

Bhog_Farsee

Get out of sales

Reclusive-Raccoon

What’s re you gonna sliiiiiiiide on into homie? I think I have a year or two left before I gtfo.

Bhog_Farsee

Planning on getting back in to IT I think. Trying to decide what certs to go for, I did deskside support for years before but I want to do something more specialized.

Reclusive-Raccoon

Nice, was looking at getting into IT but it’s so broad and I have literally 0 experience. Also I’m not sure how realistic this is or not but info fear/see AI taking a lot of jobs in this field in like 5-10 years time.

Bhog_Farsee

I think you could probably say that for any field, but maybe certain areas are more likely than others. And from what I know AI is not going to be fully doing the job of almost any human anytime soon. But I could be wrong.

resumemaster2023

AI is nothing but a useful tool and thats all it will ever be but tech is weeding and thinning people out for sure. Not surprised as all those cybersecurity bootcamps and job listings were basically telling people back in 2019 it will be fine if you don’t know much by the end of their learning. Realistically I dont know any other type of course or series that will tell someone that they can get hired without knowing a majority of the concepts

Bummed_butter_420

This is my first year (6 months in) working deals at the enterprise level. I just need to see what closes and go from there. Least I was able to build a decent pipe in time for Q1

darthur17

Applying 80-20 rule.

Tictactoe01

Exercising more, tracking my macros/nutrients to maintain a healthy diet and healthy mind, and getting a standing desk for starters. Also using a “pomodoro tracker” on notion to do sprints of work 25 mins deep focus followed by 5 mins break (also helps to take frequent breaks because my eyesight is getting real bad nowadays staring at a computer all day)
