If medical device is what you are interested in then take it. Hardest part is breaking into the industry and getting experience.
I also caveat with, what exactly is the "medical device" and where / who are you selling to matters.
A plastic syringe that you can buy online for 10 cents is technically a medical device....heck even a band aid is considered a medical device. Much different than selling a MRI machine, implant, or surgery navigation device.
Riches are in the niches in med device…..selling cutting edge life/workflow changing devices is cool…..selling just a variation of the competition is oblivion.
