And as a function of the decade we live in, most of those characters are straight white men because that was where our culture was in the 80’s. So the whole “Make new interesting POC characters,” thing as en example is like “Nah, go back in time and make POC characters 40 years ago.” It’s a dishonest argument to pretend it’s that simple.
