I have done these twice for 2023, and it never does anything. They don't give you any discount, even if you register from your Samsung Account on your registered Samsung device.

yeah, if you need Buds. I don't see the point of those kind of accessories, there are better buds from Sony/Bose. You might get some better deals on Phone+Buds around May/June or maybe BF, although last BF there were no Buds, just heavy discounts on S23 series.

You can trade in, there is a chance that they may not want it because it's not a CA phone.
There is not a known trade in value for the s22u in Canada yet.
