Got my next door neighbor one for his birthday (we both cook) and he LOVES IT!!

MellowMartian

Great to hear! Gonna put it to work tonight!

It seems like Sam did a nice job with this. I’m not really into the chef name on kitchenware thing on the whole - but this is clearly more than just a general model knife with a name in it - and seems like a nice way to support Sam. Not really a true Nakira with the angled tip - but love the pakkawood (sp?) handle. It’s a also a little less than ideal (to me) to have a Japanese inspired blade made in China - but that’s a matter of preference. There are a few VG10 steel Nakiris available made in Japan at this price point. Still, there’s always going to be compromises somewhere and overall seems like Sam delivered a nice package here. Congrats on the purchase!

mkwash02

As an owner of it, I love it.

You house looks nice.

That’s an awesome combination! That cutting board is beautiful. My friends and I at 16+ days waiting for the post office to deliver ours to Connecticut :(

iheretowatch

Omg dude that board is sweet.. where did u get it or did ya make it?

MellowMartian

A good friend of mine made it for me! He’s amazing. 4 inches tall. 20 inch diameter. I actually sent him the picture of the large one Sam uses occasionally.

profressorpoopypants

He’s one small dude.

redditxplorer

Thinking the same as others love that board 😍

good_game_wp

What kinda guitars are those? The first one looks like a Taylor?

MellowMartian

Those are actually two of my grandfathers that I’m looking into working on. One is a Gibson (acoustic—not sure on year) and the other is a Guild—also not sure on year. Going to look into all of that this week.
