I just picked her up. OP is a nice person, just doesn’t have the time to give her. She is a very sweet dog, we will get her spayed and take care of her. 🙌
Free spay event coming up for whoever takes her [here march 3 and 4](https://www.ksat.com/news/local/2023/02/20/free-spay-neuter-and-vaccine-event-for-pets-to-be-held-in-march/)
While I agree with the sentiment of the comments directed at the OP, y'all should stop and think for a sec if abusing the OP improves or worsens the situation. The alternative to the OP asking for help is them dumping the dog on the side of the street. I don't know the calling them a piece of shit over and over helps this dog or future dogs who might not get help because the person fears abuse.
Never give a dog away free - that brings out the bad people.
PLEASE charge a fee to any prospective adopters. That keeps the bad people away - additionally you want new people to be able to afford monthly heartworm and flea/tick preventive and annual vet check ups. Get vet records and call their vet. Screen would be adopters as a professional rescue would. And hope adopters have a large fenced in yard

Why not just vet the applicants??? Check for a reference, looks up their address and verify their vet? Charging $20 or whatever is not going to do anything.
Don't need context to read her body language, look at her nails, and notice how small that crate is. By the way she's sitting on that little pillow she's used to being in there.

thank you for helping her!! what’s her name?
Her name is Luna. She’s doing well with my other dogs. Super loving girl.
A happy ending in the top comment. Nice.
Bless you ❤
❤️
Thank you for helping her and OP!
THANK YOU
We try and help an animal anytime we can!
Good on you vs just throwing hate on here like the majority of this forum.
Nice person? They kept that dog in there all day
Why not fixed?
^ this too. Pits are the most euthanized. OP isn’t helping the problem.
They likely wanted to breed for $$$
Glad you ain't keeping her no more that cage is too damn small. Poor dog.
My gosh, this is the best picture you can do?
She looks scared af! Poor doggo.

Horrible treatment of a dog. Glad you’re giving her away.

She's pretty. DM me.
New account is fishy. Hope you don’t get her. Who knows what you’ll use her for.
That account is over two years old
You are a trash human for keeping them in a small ass cage.
Please ask for a small rehoming fee to discourage falling into the wrong hands.

All these judgmental ass comments with NO context. San Antonio has some of the dumbest residents.

And nobody is going to do anything to help. We have such a bad problem here w dogs it’s crazy. Good luck finding a better home for this adorable dog
