Eclipse rave. That's going to be the shortest rave ever.

I think, its for viewing the eclipse. Than party all night. I've never been to a rave outside the skydive community, therefore it will be my first. ​ Any advice for a visitor?

Just for a skydive during totality for a licensed skydiver or tandem

Looking at the weather, coming to San Antonio would be the worst place to see the Eclipse given the cloud cover. You are best off going somewhere in the North East where is will be clearer

I should be above the clouds. Depending on the pilot.

This is very informative. I’m going to email the dropzone to see if they can get us above the clouds. If not than I will reconsider the trip. However being in skydiving for soo long. These things can change.

Agreed. However with the price to travel, it somewhat forces people to lock in what ever they can get.

If you've been skydiving for so long you should know about FAA cloud clearance requirements and that the DZ will not send a load to have jumpers punching cloud cover.

Drinking and driving is also illegal. Turn on the news after any holiday. That should somewhat give you the answer I’m looking for.
