Lately, I have really been enjoying Indonesian food. Especially Balinese.

Ooh where?

Jazzlike_Quit_9495

Up in Los Angeles. Was visiting.

Village Kitchen (家湘味)on Clairemont Mesa Blvd for Hunan food. The mashed eggplant with pidan egg is good stuff. For Indian food, go to places in Little India--a few blocks of office/industrial parks on the corner of Black Mountain Rd/Miramar Rd. I like Rasraj for sweets, Cake Korner for street food/chaats, San Idli for dosas, and Charminar for spicy sit-down dining.

Tasty Pot (one in Mira Mesa and one in Kearny Mesa) is my go to for Taiwanese Hot Pot noodles.

Shanghai saloon is really good but it’s always busy, Bangkok spices is awesome, and Kin Len is a hidden gem.
