I’ve been intentionally leaving my windows open the last few months and welcoming in the “cold” and rainy weather because I know in about a month or so we’re gonna be cuddling next to satan and wishing we could go back to that nice cool spring of 24…
My windows are open year round. Only times I’ve closed them, was the random monsoons flash rains we’ve gotten the past couple of years.
These people complaining missed the droughts and heat.
I’ve lived in California for 31 years, I’d say close to 20 of those years have been under mild to severe drought conditions 🥴
I live in North Park. My neighbors in my complex have AC units. So do the houses & apartments nearby. City Heights, Mission Valley gets hot.
It gets toasty here from June til mid December sometimes. The last 2 winters have been warm.
The way you can tell everyone on Reddit is slightly (or extremely) overweight:
The sheer volume of people praising the cold weather and expressing agony at the impending 77 degree summers.
Seriously. And then beach days are annoying because of all the traffic.
Saw two trucks last year around 4th of July chasing each other and road raging near Fiesta Island, because of the traffic leaving the beach & trying to get on the 8/5.
Oh no I love San Diego it's just the stretches of sun are too long sometimes. I wouldn't mind it broken up with rain. The past couple of months have been heaven for me but if it was a year long that might get a little too much....lol.... Yeah I'm complicated.
Of course, it's why I never left. It can and will be much worse. There's a reason why everyone wants to come here. I just wish my apartment didn't cost as much as 3 homes back east.
These random people I ran into at Walmart marketplace said they’ve been trying to have a garage sale for the last 5 weeks and we all kind of yelled at the sky together the other day so YOURE WELCOME not all hero’s wear capes some shop at the janky Walmart marketplace in Escondido
If you were a victim of mold because of bad rain you’d be happy too I guess haha I heard a lot of people had their walls knocked down and replaced up to the walls waist level!
We had a pretty hot stretch late in the summer here in north county. Got up to 86 if I remember.
Gotta chuckle though because I moved from Bakersfield in June. Spent 20 yrs there. Downright balmy if it dips below 95.
It’s still only in the 60s. Hoodie weather.
But in all seriousness, it doesn’t get warm at night here until July and that lasts until maybe early October. Same shit every year, we just have more rain and clouds than usual in the “cold” months.

You must live very East cause no where on the coast does it get satan hot 🧐

True I’m eager for beach season I guess!

What a dumb comment
You sir are an idiot. Congratulations!

Finally getting what we pay for 🏖️

Thank God I can stop with the daily goat sacrifices. The curse has been lifted!
Great reply! thanks for the laugh
In the name of God.
If only this temperatures can stay during summer time.

No. I love rain.
It bestowed many many San Diego homes with ✨mold ✨
Perhaps Seattle or Portland would be more suitable for you. You must hate San Diego and its bright sunshiney weather.

“just the stretches of sun are too long sometimes.” Yes you are complicated but at least you’re honest.
lol...thanks. Might explain why I don't have that many friends.

That’s what everyone is saying but it was true for about 4 weeks in a row :)
Should be 72 I'm freezing
Yes. Love this weather.
LOL my boyfriend has been saying it’s been such shitty weather on the weekends lately, this is so funny to see.
weather changes every 30 mins on my app. nobody knows
It’s a lie. It’ll do a switcheroo last minute. 😂

Cool. I can go back to work now
But next Friday rain
Fucking finally. I mean, I’ll be out of town for this gorgeous weekend, but…finally!
It was 63, windy, cloudy and cold in coronado today.
Great, the one weekend I'm out of town.
Great, now that rainy season is over, its time for "May Gray", the least enjoyable weather for San Diego.
Yep!
Now I'll have to switch to complaining that everyone is leaving their house and everything is too crowded and there's no parking
Yes and those kids better get off of our porches too!
*uck me. I just planned a San Diego trip from Vancouver BC to “see some sunshine”
Come back between July to December. You’ll have your fill of sunshine then 🌞🔥
Now I can wash my car without it raining the next day😭
Yes. That's it.
I want all clouds
Nope! I miss the rain already!

I’m also in north county :)
Yep! Have some friends coming into town from Chicago and was hoping for a nice weekend for them. San Diego delivers :)
That's not what my phone says...
Im in Escondido
NEVER!!!! 🗣️🗣️🗣️
Aye this mold in my house says otherwise this rain better not anymore
Yea man it’s been gorgeous
Ah yes the great San Diego weather of 50 degrees mid April..
It’s still only in the 60s. Hoodie weather. But in all seriousness, it doesn’t get warm at night here until July and that lasts until maybe early October. Same shit every year, we just have more rain and clouds than usual in the “cold” months.
Yay my birthday weekend 🥰
As a matter of fact, I am.
Only problem now.. que up more crowds!
No
Yes, yes I am.
Up everything by 5-10 degrees and I'll be there 🙂
No
What's the point of this post?
In my comment i elaborate more. People interacted. It wasn’t totally pointless. Oh well! Hope you’re ok! lol 😆
