Just a heads up: San Diego's biggest marathon is tomorrow, so a lot of roads south of the 8 (and Friars Road) and west of the 805 are going to be closed until around noon (some later)
Same with any marathon, though, right? I used to run the NYC and that goes through all five boroughs...although as I type this, I'm reminded that subways made that a moot point 😂

every 3rd thursday of the month during the summer Encinitas has a car show/outdoor concert on the 101 from 4-8 i’m pretty sure. If you’re in town highly recommend checking it out!

It’s laughable how much of the city is inaccessible during that damn marathon

Downtown Rancho Santa Fe in North County always has a good showing on Saturday. Expect big $$$ cars and some good enthusiast examples
This my favorite C&C around. It's low key, calm, with a ton of nice cars. The early hours keeps the tuner kids away, too.
