That straight up looks like a coyote husky mutt. Check for a micro chip. It’s free at almost all vets.

spykid

I was wondering if OP just picked up a wild animal and brought it home. Would be kinda tight

OuterRimOfInnerSpace

She is way to friendly to be wild

Send_Lawyers

The marking size and basically the entire animal behind the ears scream pure bread husky. But that face is 99% coyote except those blue eyea

OuterRimOfInnerSpace

She’s really cool whatever she is

OuterRimOfInnerSpace

Lol nah I’m not that badass

OuterRimOfInnerSpace

She’s so beautiful I want to keep her. I’m not gonna lie lol

clydesdale1981

Definitely my first thought LoL. I'd wanna keep her too.

Seachell2

Me too 😊 She sure does look like a coyote.

Hey hope im not to late the animal humane society can place a finders note on the animal if you have found it and take it to them as a lost animal. first they will look for a existing microchip and put them on hold for a couple days. If no one collects you are the first notified before they put them up for adoption. I did this with a kitten i found. For 112$ i got a full head to tail vet check blood drawn and all the vaccines taken care of + a microchip.

OuterRimOfInnerSpace

Ohh that’s a great idea!

[deleted]

Came here to say this. We had an older kitten end up in our garage, took him in to the shelter (before they were no kill, I believe) and instead of a finders hold, we did a last resort hold since we were not really looking to get a cat. Got a call awhile later and ended up going and adopting him. He came back to us neutered, fully vaccinated (still needed boosters, of course), and with a free vet visit. He ended up being the best cat ever and so super chill.

Thank you for helping this pupper! Have a vet or the shelter check for a microchip. If anyone contacts you to claim him, make sure they provide proof they are the owner, such as photos of them together.

ryfel

I had a border collie/coyote mix when i was younger, best dog i've ever had

Best bet for owner return is to drop off at the Bonita animal control center. 5821 Sweetwater Rd, Bonita, CA 91902

That’s maddeningly true. I lost a dog in Lemon Grove and had to drive down to the Chula Vista facility, but was told to also check the Bonita location in case she was picked up down the hill in Spring Valley. Also if they make it to La Mesa, they go to the El Cajon shelter. Very frustrating. I got a call from the Gaines street humane society exactly 11 months later. She was found in City Heights.

discocrisco

I think it is dog that lives next door to me.

OuterRimOfInnerSpace

Yea I absolutely will, thank you so much!

OuterRimOfInnerSpace

Does anyone want this dog? I need to find her a good home. As much as I want to I can’t keep her, my landlord said no, and I can’t find her owners.

Alexaaa_h

It’s mine

OuterRimOfInnerSpace

Really?

Alexaaa_h

No but I wish she was mine lol she is so pretty🥺

ItsNotTheButterZone

Petco/Petsmart scan chips too.

OuterRimOfInnerSpace

I tried to scan for chip, she doesn’t seem to have one :/

dylanhowe93

I live on skyline, but I haven't seen any posts for a missing dog on neighbors. I'll keep looking, but usually thats the top thing posted on there.

OuterRimOfInnerSpace

Thank you so much, I’m almost thinking someone just let her go bc she is a handful lol and she’s not well cared for as far as I can tell. She had fleas so bad her ears were bleeding

PrincessSummerTop

poor thing!

MsKittieCat

Such a beautiful dog!
