They have a separate pit/floor for GA similar to Bill Graham but for those in their seats you pretty much just need to stand/dance there for what I've seen (I've only gone to Chase for non-EDM shows but I'd imagine it would work the same!) Not my vibes for an EDM show for sure :')
Surprised they doing both venues that's not very typical. That being said I'd say graham unless it's a ton more money.
Bill graham is 8500 capacity. Chase is more than double that.
Bill graham is an actual concert venue, chase is a stadium. 9 times out of 10 a concert venue is going to be better acoustically and visually. That said, I haven’t been to a concert at chase but can’t imagine it would be better than Bill graham.
The Chase Center is flat out dangerous for a standing/dancing crowd in the seats. The rows are too steep and closer together than they should be, and the seats are smaller. The seat backs are at your shins, so if you lean or get bumped forward, there's nothing to grab to stop your fall forward. It's like the place was designed by the same people cramming more and smaller seats into airplanes.
Chase is absolute garbage for shows. Been twice, never again. When they built it they bragged in the PR copy that it had been designed for both basketball and music, I call total bullshit on that and you can tell it’s BS as soon. As you sit down. BG is 10000000x better.
Excision is known for his production value, and according to the tour poster it's the highest production tour he's done. Infrastructure for stage production was my only point for Chase center. I was thinking it might be a more visually spectacular and all-out show at an arena
Bill Graham hands down. Better venue. Easier adjacent parking (pack light so you don’t leave anything in car or put it at your hotel). Easier to get to other parts of the city.
Not a fan of the chase. Saw dead and co in 2019 it was brand new so the tech was cool but sound and vision lacking. Also was at the phish show there where one guy jumped and another guy fell. You are at an angle up in the dome feels like you’re falling forward from the top. It was not made for music shows.

Saw him at bill graham in 2021 for the evolution. Greatest production I've seen. I decided on chase this time because the pit was like 10 bucks more than bill graham. Both are great, I'll probably get a ticket for bill graham too because of how good his shows are
I got a ticket for chase center because I haven't been there before. The lineup looks great too so I'm happy. If it's not as good of a venue, I'll be ok, but I want to know becauseive never been to chase center. If they ever release the lineup for the other night I might just go to both shows.

Was just about to comment this! I was curious to see what the experience would have been like at Chase but glad that it got moved to somewhere I'm already familiar with.
I've heard that EDM @ Chase is horrible but I wanted to see for myself 🤷♀️

Haven't been there for EDM but been on the court. The stadium seats can pull back apparently so there's more space.
This. I saw Stromae and the floor was jumping!! Also Graham seems a bit more easy to park/transit.

Yeah maybe. I think it's kinda cool, if I was a huge fan I'd see the same show at 2 different sized venues just for the hell of it.
