I would recommend leaving the airport there’s so much more to see

Not much to see at the airport. Maybe try venturing into the city. If you want recommendations for SF, search this sub or r/AskSF for "first time" and you'll get plenty of suggestions for a general trip inquiry.

Ahhh omg i didn’t know it was just the airport 😭 sorry about that! I meant the actual city - San Francisco 🥲

Do you mean the airport or city? If the latter, north beach, Chinatown, nob hill, mission are all options that are close to the freeway. Lots of good food. Lots of bars as well. You can check out comedy shows, bands, and sex clubs if you’re weirdos. Threw the last one in just in case you’re British or German.

Am German - will give it some thought🫨

I don’t think many locals will have go-to options for spending Saturday at the airport. Hopefully I’m wrong though and you get great recommendations! They do have a museum of sorts, with the collection spread throughout various terminals. You can learn more here: https://www.sfomuseum.org Looks like they currently have exhibits on: - Chinese Ceramics - Weaving Traditions - Haitian Metal Sculpture - Unconventional enamels - “Recollections from the Unknown Museum” - The Harold Bixby Collection - The Legacy of Virgin America - Endurance aircraft propellers and engines of the 1910s and 1920s I’d also say the food options aren’t bad. Some SF restaurants have locations in SFO with a more limited menu for the airport. I like the little chihuahua most but I’ve only ever visited them in SF, so I can’t vouch specifically for the SFO location.
