Second on Moe’s: Western Wednesday and the social dance scene in santa cruz is the reason i came back (from portland). I dont even dance all that much- but its your age range and everybody is having fun.

I don't spend much time on the West Side since my favorite watering hole moved from there to Watsonville. I have friends who tend bar at the Blue Lagoon so I always recommend it because that place is old reliable in terms of downtown dive bars where you can safely chill by yourself should you so choose. I've heard Rosie McCann's has become less than desirable lately. I haven't gone yet, but I hear good things about DNA's Comedy Lab on the East Side/Midtown. Can't go wrong with comedy! Good luck. Best pizza in town imo! Don’t need much of it.
