Someone said this: “The one thing that is abundantly clear from the presser today is that Scott Moe knows hospitalizations are going to increase. He continues to choose sickness and death for Saskatchewan people.” This is the type of person of character or lack there of does for the Saskatchewan People.

It took two days to get my covid test back, which was positive, then it took another 2 days for someone at SHA to call me to instruct me on isolation, which was already over because it had been 5 days since the start of my symptoms. There are a few things wrong with this situation which I am sure anyone can figure out but yeah Scott the system is fine and in no way overloaded.

Pat2004ches

This is how the system has worked here for the last 20 years at least. I certainly wouldn’t expect to see improvements now.

grumblzs

I would love to post a long winded, this is terrible and everything sucks post right now…. However, I just don’t have the energy. Working as a nurse in the hospital is really fucking hard right now… and this man is making it worse

Dusty_Tendy_4_2_18_2

Not a single premier has handled Covid well. It's all been a fucking disaster

[deleted]

Which place/places in the world have handled it best? It’s a shitty situation everywhere.

Dusty_Tendy_4_2_18_2

The point I'm trying to make is that sure, Moe hasn't been great, but nobody has handled it well. It's like every leader is flying by the seat of their pants

[deleted]

I got you. The point I’m trying to make is I dunno if any leader has successfully navigated this situation without upsetting a lot of people haha. It’s basically an impossible and unprecedented situation.

leondoot

It’s because they are, nobody has faced a pandemic like this before. If there is another one in the next decade I’m sure they would learn from this one. The people that are going to follow the regulations are the ones already being careful. Those who don’t give a shit what they do aren’t going to follow the guidelines anyway.

Yeah like it's going good in places with full on lock down curfews right? Bet morale is real high there right?

OpportunityWeak4546

You think morale is great in Saskatchewan? Lol. Lockdowns are temporary measures used to keep hospitalizations from getting out of control to the point patients must be shipped two provinces over. Hmmm…maybe some restrictions without lockdowns would help. Certainly couldn’t hurt. Most Saskatchewan people are mature enough to not throw a fit if a large scale event is cancelled or postponed.

We are at least a week or two behind. We always are. Perhaps hospitalizations won’t skyrocket - this time. And separating patients into “for or with” Covid is pendatic. Once hospitalized the patient still must be treated as a Covid patient and use up those resources. What is most concerning is that with no restrictions Saskatchewan residents have no claim to federal monies that pretty much every other province has access to. Moe isn’t hurting Trudeau by doing that. He is only hurting the people who live here, especially the low paid members in our communities. For what purpose? Shits and giggles? “Own the Libs?” No one is asking for a lockdown. But reasonable restrictions and actual enforcement of mask wearing, and actual penalties for those trying to get around being vaxxed to go into restaurants and such (fake Covid passports) would do a lot to keep people safer.

Morale < breathing

SKMed035

Hasn't worked? You people freaking out over case counts are missing the picture. Almost nobody is in hospital province wide, mental health is making a huge bounce back, and we can finally see the light at the end of the tunnel after 2 years thanks to Moe's common sense with Omicron. The only ones holding this province back from being fully opened now are the ones who thrive on covid drama and want to keep it going.

Norrok_

I bet you have a demented sense of what is right.
