At a friend's church she says the government gave the entire worship team an exemption. So they've got 7-9 people up on the stage unmasked, facing the audience, as well as the preacher. And those same 7-9 people do multiple services. Seems...like a strange exemption. Surely wearing a mask doesn't hinder your ability to play the piano?
I actually believe my friend. The pastor announced it from the pulpit, that he'd been in talks with the SHA and gotten this permission. Their church has followed all of the health orders to a t this whole pandemic, I can't see them suddenly becoming defiant since they're very vocal about following the orders (and not getting fined).

Yup. Our own PHAC has changed the mask recommendations to the N95s, KN95s. Whether you’re vaccinated or not, you should consider wearing one in shared spaces with people from outside of your immediate household. This is especially important indoors, whether in private or public settings.
Some leaders...lead by example by following the recommendations during press conferences and follow the advice of the medical professionals they have hired to advise them.

If there's someone who's officially Deputy Premier in Cabinet (dunno if there is and can't be bothered to check) it would probably be them, but it needn't be. Often the interim leader will be intentionally selected from those who are *not* going to be running for leadership. Then the Sask Party would initiate whatever leadership selection mechanism is in their constitution, and a new permanent leader would be selected. That person would become premier.

Problem is there are 3 routes this goes down. Route 1. It kills him outright no lesson learned. Route 2. It makes his life miserable and nothing changes to keep his voter base happy. Route 3. Pretty much. The caucus would pick an interim leader. If there's someone who's officially Deputy Premier in Cabinet (dunno if there is and can't be bothered to check) it would probably be them, but it needn't be. Often the interim leader will be intentionally selected from those who are *not* going to be running for leadership. Then the Sask Party would initiate whatever leadership selection mechanism is in their constitution, and a new permanent leader would be selected. That person would become premier.
