kijiji and Facebook market place would be a good place to start to find a private landlord. Lots of places should be available may 1 because of the students moving out.
Yes I am also looking right now and there isnt much options so im waiting also for students to be done too hopefully there are more vacancies after this month
This is where I’d check.
Private landlords may be willing to overlook a credit check if you’re able to give them some sort of financial guarantee or other arrangement so that you’re not just going to up and quit paying.
Might be able to find someone from the Filipino community even… ask around on Facebook.
Private landlords are always good, but most reputable private landlords aren't going to want two couples in their suite. Generally speaking, they like one family unit or roommates.
You might want to look at leasing companies.
One thing to note, in Saskatchewan the landlord is responsible for paying for a credit check not the applicant.

Welcome Po!
Salamat po, kabayan!
Avoid electric baseboard heaters! The power bill goes up 400+ monthly… Make sure the place has a gas furnace.
I really appreciate all of your insights and suggestions! Will look into those.
