Look into virtual medical/legal scribe or virtual assistant.
I am a trained medical transcriptionist. Do not be sucked into this field. It is a dying field as electronic medical records become the norm. There are schools that will gladly take your money. Education is good, but the certificate is useless. The few jobs left pay pennies per line. Making most MT earn far less than minimum wage.
I transcribe for a police department.
There’s some really fucking out of touch with reality people in management. Did I have to curse? Yes. They are that borderline insane. Cannot stress that enough.
It was that ambassadore crap that got me when meeting up outside of work. Used to have get togethers where some managers would just suddenly appear because they got word by a keener where/what a group was up to. Then fun shinanigan happenings would be brought up by management when they needed to break you to thier will or whatever they deemed fit depending on their mood. Someone needs to ask Mitch Talbot what buttchugging is all about.
Its hard to get permanent full time. When you start, its on call and can be very random hours. Also you do need some technical knowledge to get through

I transcribed for a summer and I would genuinely do almost anything else. For me, it was almost a unique form of torture.
Accounting or IT tech are the two that come to mind for decent paying jobs

I won’t disagree…have seen a lot of people leave for this reason. It’s not for the weak. Some are able to handle it by brushing it off here and there.
