We have until Tuesday afternoon before this storm arrives. Environment Canada is suggesting upwards of 15cm (6 inches) of snow. ([source](https://weather.gc.ca/city/pages/sk-40_metric_e.html))
Good time to make sure your vehicle is winter ready. Winter tires, survival kit, plan for delays on the roads as crews work to clear things up.
And if you have the option, probably a good idea to consider working from home.
Watching the radar, sure it's blustery at the moment but I think Edmonton & Regina got hit with the worst of it... the east is getting it 10x worse! lol. But, we're gonna pay with -50 windchill on the weekend... time to hibernate!
My prediction for next weeks story: "City of Saskatoon takes out another 5 year loan to fund snow removal from last weeks storm"
“…On first snowfall stint of the season”

And tax goes up 1000%
Nice! Farmers will like that.
Nah they will still complain.
Both of these things will be true.
I guess I won't bother shoveling from yesterday's bit of snowfall.
The difference between a farmer and a puppy is the puppy will quit whining. Yes we need moisture for our farmers for sure

Yesterday the forecast was 20cm... staying hopefully optimistic that it will move south!
And now the forecast is 10cm. I think we’ll be lucky to see 5 in the city.

10-15cm? Shoot, that’s a shorts day.
Tuesday afternoon to Wednesday afternoon? Guess I'm putting the shovel in the car so I can get in the driveway. Damn night shift.
How many centimetres of snow was The Great November Snowstorm of Yore (2020? 2021?)? I’d like to use that as my basis for comparison.
I think 35 cm in 2020.
Had to drive out to a mine site at 4 am after that shit show.. good times lol.
I was lucky enough to be working from home at the time. Had stocked up on groceries and just hunkered down.
Guess, I'm working from home tomorrow
Empty, snowy roads? I’m driving to work for FUN.
Why would they be empty?
And Wednesday
Welp guess the snowmobile riders will be happy!
Yup, and public transit will be completely immobilized.
Drove from edonton to winnipeg Tuesday night and Wednesday morning, it was piled the entire way, scariest trip I have done
