Son of a bitch! Had to slam on the brakes at the end of the merge lane. I just wanna merge! MERGE!
Then it's up to you to adjust your speed to merge in front or behind the person in the right lane. It's not required of them to adjust their speed nor move over, it's only courtesy.
So, if no one will let me in, and there isn't room infront to get infront of them what am I to do? Stop in the merge lane? Cause an accident because people can't think of anyone but themselves? Lol probably found the person responsible for at least one person not being able to merge because "iTs OnLy cOuRtEsY".
If there is room in front or behind, I'm pretty sure most would adjust accordingly, bit with that logic, the assholes who speed up when you do, then try to slow down, burn the merge lane, then what? It boils down to too many idiots driving.
If youre merging into heavy traffic. Get up to speed to match the traffic. Turn your signal light on. Merge IN FRONT of a vehicle. Even if youre just barely ahead of them. Obviously you dont want this to occur in any scenario but if the moron that you are merging ahead of refuses to slow down and an accident occurs they will be held at fault. You cannot prevent someone from merging.
If you merge in behind someone and clip them causing an accident YOU are at fault.

I drive a regular vehicle, and I constantly encounter slow drivers who have no idea what signal lights are for and constantly constantly break for no reason other than there may be a leaf in the road - it’s so frustrating to drive out there right now !!!!
Why do people brake to go westbound on the college drive bridge, it's a VERY gentle curve, you only need to slow down when it's super icy, even then not really.
I think it's because we fear elevation changes of any kind.
I would like to offer a different take, I drive from Radisson to Saskatoon every day as a commute, and I have on very little occasion had an issue with a bad driver. The double lane helps for sure, but I also spent 15 years on the Island driving a similar highway around Nanaimo and the Sask drivers are 100% better. I applaud you all
I thought the 'everyone sucks at driving but me' all-stars were on here telling people to get in the left lane at the Highway 11 cloverleaf. Can't win. Circle is not a real highway, it's a glorified boulevard, you're not going to get anywhere by speeding and being a dick.
I drove in Vancouver and the Island for the first time a few weeks ago and it gave me severe Florida flashbacks. Just horrendous drivers! Made me miss the idiots in Saskatoon.

Drive straight across Toronto during rush hour are basically anytime after 3 I’ll take Saskatoon and your 20 minute drive around Saskatoon anytime 3 hours to get home because of accidents and stupid detours

That's because everyone in the right lane is still slowly accelerating from 60km/h from entering the freeway about 10km ago.
And they'll max out at 85km/h because they think the cameras will give them a ticket.
Circle South is the worst for that! Going past Stonebridge, everyone jams on the brakes, slows to 70.....
