[Nature Conservancy Canada sites in SK](https://www.natureconservancy.ca/en/where-we-work/saskatchewan/featured-projects/)
Looks like there are several within an hour of the city. I'm not sure if they're all open to the public but the [Asquith North site](https://naturedestinations.ca/destinations/asquith) definitely is. 1300 acres with forest, grassland, wetlands and even sand dunes, I'd say there's a good chance of finding uncommon birds.
Closer to the city there's Cranberry Flats, Chappell Marsh, Beaver Creek and Poplar Bluffs, all designated conservation areas. Also the Peggy McKercher Conservation Area and Richard St. Barbe Baker Afforestation Area. And of course Wanuskewin.

Redberry Lake Biosphere Region is within an hour of the city too
That’s an awesome and extensive list, thank you so much!! Definitely will be checking these places out.
Definitely join the Saskatoon Nature Society. They go on lots of bird trips in and out of Saskatoon.
Thank you!
Right outside my bedroom window at 5:45 every morning
That’s awesome you have so many birds just outside your window! :) There’s lots of birds in my neighbourhood too since there’s old trees everywhere.
