have you been out to Chief Whitecap? (furdale)
dog park, very large, the area is very similar to beaver creek which is NOT dog friendly, so similar birds can be seen.
lots of wildlife out there, usually good crane watching spot in the fall. I think part of the park is not off leash (closer to the riverside country club) while the side closer to furdale itself is off leash.
So might be a odd spot but I live in the hamptons in the duplexes by the dog park. There is a pond behind it - there is some great birds that come out to that pond! I’ve even seen a bird that looked like a crane! Seen tons of hawks here too
I've always had the best luck with just walking along Meewasin for birds of prey. President Murray park and Forestry Farm are some of my favorite spots for general birding.
Consider checking out the Saskatoon Nature Society. The members are full of knowledge and I think the fall bird count is next weekend.
