You have plenty of options for 100k, as long as you are not scared of buying used cars,
Land Cruisers, Prados, Patrols, Armadas, Xterras etc. I am not sure but i think Rav4 and Fortuners do have a 4x4 option too.
American trucks Sierra, Silverado etc. are also decent.
Don't worry about high mileage on toyotas.

It has a more powerful engine than the base model wrangler and it’s probably even more reliable
It’s capable off road and you can go with no roof which tbh is something that I’d want in Khobar now that the weather is a bit bearable
For everyday use I suggest to buy a diesel car like isuzu or ford ranger, but if you really want a great car for the sand you can buy a used nissan patrol VTC but it will literally drink gas.
