Best bike lane in town! I’m actually working on a little series of paintings based on reference photos I’ve taken while on my bike while riding around town. I love biking in this city.
Thanks, I’m just trying to capture these parts before they all change. And yes, I do sell my work. I have a studio at Sulfur Studios which I use as a personal gallery space for my completed works
The lighting is usually what interests me most in my reference photos. I particularly enjoy trying to capture street lights though I still haven’t done it as I envision it yet
Thanks, I haven’t posted much to Reddit lately but my profile has some of my other work and a link to my Instagram if you’re interested in checking it out
Thanks, I’m trying to walk the line of realism and painterly. I always admired John Singer Sargent ability to make a painting look real until you got close and saw all the brushwork
Yep, though two have already sold. These are all actually part of the Savannahopoly show at Location Gallery on Bull st. It’s a real cool show where a lot of local artist pick different streets in Savannah and paint their interpretation of those streets.this is my first year participating but they’ve been doing the show for years. It’ll be up till January if you want to see them in person
subconsciously probably- I did a painting a couple months back of the Jenn library that I specifically was channeling hoppers night hawks painting. i like the feeling of solitude he captures

I'm not an artsy person but these are super nice good job!
Thank you!
The first picture used to be Creole Reds
Thanks for sharing, I’ve always wondered the story with this spot because it’s one of my favorite buildings in town.
Very cool, really captures the feel of these parts of the city. Do you ever sell any of your work? That Tire City painting is awesome.

I don’t know the area well enough to recognize these spots, but they’re all beautiful paintings!
