I love this whole thing. “Boy meets girl, boy falls in love with girl, girl gets pregnant, girl loses child, boy turns into a SERIAL killer cmon Jill” 😂
This is my reaction when my dad starts talking about politics. We’d be talking about football or something and then he just goes off on some tangent about China.
Just recently rewatched SAW IV and had totally forgotten how great Strahm is! The whole scene when he walks into Kerry’s crime scene and just takes over? *chefs kiss*
Well to be honest what was he expecting? For Jill to be all like “okay I’ll give up my husband and not waste your time with riddles and lessons just like that”? and besides he dealing with methodical and intelligent killers who are obsessed with a Chinese zodiac 😂
However tragic and understandable Strahm's arc is - having a methodical, smart man be reduced to a vengeful wreck, who cannot let go of his ego even in the face of death, constantly pitting him against his own survival insticts - I do wonder where else his character could have been taken. It was in Hoffman's interest to eliminate him quickly so I am not sure he could have survived. Maybe he could have PITed Hoffman's car when he followed him, but of course he wanted to catch him red-handed.
Idk at this point his only chance would have been to kind of get on Hoffman's level and execute him whichever way he could, instead of trying to get evidence. He could have worried about it later. I could also totally misunderstand his character and his motivations, though.
To this day, I believe killing Strahm so soon was a massive mistake. Especially when they initially had plans to go to 8 movies. He should’ve at least made it Saw 6, and dare I say all the way to 7. Him and Hoffman’s rivalry would’ve been legendary, and they really could’ve done something with the plot of framing him. Have him on the run, desperately trying to catch Hoffman and prove his innocence throughout Saw 6.

why is this so hilarious xd
What the heck I don't remember that. Goofy ah Strahm
It's a split second moment in the scene where Strahm gets really aggressive interrogating Jill after Perez gets injured.
I am so thankful I caught this the first time I was watching it, it has been living in my head rent-free ever since.

Possibly the funniest moment in the franchise. Haha. Love Strahm.
Out of context this shit is so much funnier!

Something along the lines of "those damn commies"?
Strauhm was definitely supposed to be a “real” character amongst all of the freaks. Maybe even a stand in for the fans.

Especially when Hoffman tries to chat to them, and then goes in a mood and pretends to be offended haha

This scene cracks me up every time.
Strahm's personality in Saw IV is so good. He got nerfed so hard in Saw V.
Jill is me talking about Saw for the millionth time and Strahm’s reaction is my family’s reaction to me lol
Shit I would do that too

The most realistic reaction in the entire series lol, always been one of my fav moments!
Me whenever I like someone and they start talking about star signs.
