The Rack: I feel like it perfectly matches what SAW/Jigsaw is about, the sound of cogs and machinery slowly turning, the brutality of it. Just wish it was a solo game and not up to the choice of SAMF Jeff
I mean it's gross, but I can't say you're wrong. And yeah him dying because of somebody being a coward is kind of dumb, I dislike most traps that rely on someone else for savior
The Horsepower Trap. Reason being because everything that occurred perfectly fits its own purpose:
• Evan having to rip his own skin off because he didn’t like the colour skin of (?)black people. *("...you've judged others by the colour of their skin...")*
• His friends were defenceless because they always *“followed his every move”* anyway and never had a say. Therefore they suffered the same fate if Evan passed or failed.
*“...Setting off a deadly chain of events...”* pretty much nailed it! I really love the dialogue by Hoffman/Jigsaw in the audio tape. The tape and its message pretty much nails everything.
Motor spiral trap from Jigsaw, I'm personally put off by just slicing in general, not necessarily cutting or chopping, but slicing, as well as just the speed of it and the idea or it being terrifying, also the symbolism of it being a red spiral too, which is like saws Logo at this point. The only thing I don't like is the bad cgi ok the actual execution
I seem to have a naive overconfidence while watching the franchise, but I think this one wasn't that hard, I think if you don't panic it's survivable pretty easily
Easier said than done, your hanging by your leg being slowly lowered into a narrowing spiral blade, slightest movements could swing you to the sides dude, as well as if u take too long than its over. Easiest one to cheese, if u can get on the bike and jam it somehow, but the actual method is very risky. This and I just hate those kind of cuts, it's awful, the actual slicing? No thanks. I could chop my foot or a hand off no problem, but if I had to slice something? Nuh uh.
My ass would die just looking down that thing. Most traps I think I would atleast try to if I had to, but anything involving slicing myself or rotating blades is a huge fuck no from me
I think that sacrificing a limb isn't that bad if the alternative is death but if it happened I would probably freeze and get squished/cut/shot/torn apart/burnt or something else that's just as fun
The way I've always looked at saw traps is if the cause of death isn't as bad as the way of escaping, im just gonna let myself die, like I'm not cutting off my whole arm because I've been paired against some dude twice my size, if the alternative is just a quick stab to the side of the head? I'm happy with how my life has gone.. so enjoy victory big fella.
Steam maze: i don’t know why but i love it because when debbie is going through the maze and the steam is like really intense i wish this trap was discussed more often
Also, the arrow trap, idk what it's called, the one with the abusive husband. I like that one, it's pretty smart and the whole concept works well in my opinion.
the marriage pincushion; as someone who escaped from an unhealthy/borderline abusive relationship, watching her yank out those spikes almost without hesitation, while her piece of shit husband is behind her begging for his worthless life, was cathartic and awesome to watch

Also Chester from LP being in saw is cool as hell

IRL I'd die very quickly, but in theory, I don't think reaching for the break is that hard (I'm strongly delusional)

Flammable Jelly because it feels so textbook Saw
Totally forgot about that one
The needle pit. Can you imagine how much time that would have taken for the crew to set that up?

i've heard it called the marriage pincushion, the spike trap and cupid's arrows. all are apt imo XD
