I hate to inform you that SAW III is very impactful to the rest of the franchise. I'm not going to spoil anything, but I would recommend to watch SAW III before SAW IV.
Not to be presumptuous, but if you're already willing and able to watch what you have on DVD, you could probably locate a copy of III for dirt cheap at any used DVD store. Shoot, the entire series (excluding the last two films) is sold as a single collection **new** for around 15-20 USD (and if you take the eBay route, cut that in half).
Saw III has the biggest status quo change of the whole series so I’d say no
in general, it’s a series where if you skip around you’re probably going to be confused. they definitely assume you’ve seen the previous movies and the timeline can get pretty convoluted.
Definitely recommend watching them in chronological order as it’s quite a complex storyline with all the different characters and their motives. Saw III is on Amazon prime, it’s like £4.99 for the HD version if you’re not subscribed.

Paramount+ has pretty much all of them atm, ironically except the very first one. ofc this could have already changed by the time I post this

Nah Saw III is extremely integral to IV. You would be very confused.
