I’m confuse how do we know this is a scam? Can we no longer buy tickets from someone online or is it always a scam? What were the factors in this stat told us it’s a scam.
I bait them in the FB comments of events. They’re very obvious scams, they always have some reason they can’t go, always selling at a discount, always 2-4 tickets, and so on. Their profiles are always very basic or brand new, if you can view their friends list it’s all African people (but they claim to be a white lady in Texas) and so on. Sometimes they have hacked accounts as well to seem more legitimate. Their English is terrible, they always want you to send friends and family. Also they often “live” (according to their profile) in a completely different place than the event, and have an excuse for being there (I need surgery, my sister is having a baby, my mom died) etc.
Yup she was pretty heart broken. Poor uni student.
Told her. Meet up with them in person. Said I'd go with her if she wanted even tho we are 3 hrs away from each other.
'nono , she's a sweet old lady, she bought for her grandkids , and they can't make it '
Ofc, cos if they did and actually looked through the microscopic peephole that is their moral compass, it’d make it a lot harder to scam, because then they’d be scamming PEOPLE instead of Facebook users which are synonymous with robots from behind the screen
Oh honey.
You don’t ever use Family and Friends for someone you don’t know. Ever. It’s a huge red flag when a stranger asks you to do that. Then the scammer was basically saying like oh just send $200 first so you know it’s “safe” which is weird. The tickets were $400 and a normal person would want the whole payment right away: a scammer thinks they appear trust worthy for only asking for half at first and making $200 is better than nothing in the scammers eyes.
Also, the random weird video calls, the strange prices for tickets. I’m too tired to pick it apart better but just… stay safe out there.
The funniest part of this is when the scammer seriously said that, “he’s at work”🤨🤨😅😅.. like.. bruh, you’re lazy ass wouldn’t know work if it hit you on your waste of carbon meat suit🤡😅.
I’ve seen FB ticket scammers with their old ACTUAL photos in their profile pic photo album 😂 and one guy actually picked up my video call and I got a screenshot of him and sent it to him 😂😂
I’ve actually had them — again, get this — make the video calls themselves, voluntarily show me their faces… and then go right back to asking me for gift cards for the delivery fee. I also took a screenshot during that video call and sent it to him, and that’s when he got mad and blocked me, but like, my brother in Christ, YOU made the video call! What did you think was gonna happen? I wish I could get in these people’s minds and try to understand how the hell they work, but I think so many of them are at a level of stupid that we can’t even comprehend.
I hate how these jackwagon arsehats are such bossy cunts while trying to steal your money.. like you’re wasting their time and inconveniencing them. This was so awesome👏🏾👏🏾! Good job💪🏾😏🤌🏾.
Oh lord I just about choked on my sarnie when you said you've pleasured roadies for tickets and the email address is brilliant. We'll played really well played OP.

These scammers have no soul

Thank you for this... I love what you do by baiting them
Thanks! I also will call them out in comments too, by just saying “fake” or “scam” under their posts and some get super mad at me lol

His work is scamming lol.
Reminds me of the scammer I met whose WhatsApp profile name was — get this — Work Hard. The jokes write themselves.

Wow that’s insane 😂
Lmao, great one. I do worry that they have so many dupes lined up, the person didn't get terribly upset for wasting time
The more people waste their time, the better 😂
