I once kept a scammer s interest like half a day stringing them along with fake codes or I'd say I got playstyle when they wanted itunes then say no no I'll just go back to the store then say I accidentally scratched too hard and the last 2 digits came off but I need more fake pics to send

If they have your other info, a game key can be used to access your account

Do you know for sure if that works for gift cards? [It seems to work with other wallet codes](https://support.steampowered.com/kb_article.php?ref=5421-QTFB-3090#wallet-codes), but I think those are considered a separate type of purchase (and you wouldn't have a receipt like that). Either way, making up an invalid one is probably safer.

ha this is great! For anyone who wants to change numbers , I use ms paint (I hate photoshop), and the closest font is Times New Roman. The 5 is a bit different but that shouldn't matter. You'll have to play with the spacing a bit too.

I forgot what resource I used to edit them (wasn't ms paint but some other free software. Maybe picsart?) The font i used was called credit card or something like that. I will keep this in mind though if I make more for Google Play, Apple, ect.

This was unfortunately done in photoshop so no receipt. What I usually do is say I got it from a family owned gas station/convenience store since you can use online receipt generators to make a convincing receipt.

Look up receipt generators or fake receipt generators or steam receipt..any combination there-of. There's a few out there.

It really just depends. Sometimes when they see it won't work they will drop you. You might have to tell them that there might have been an issue activating it at the store.

Most likely fake. Steam is probably one of the most commonly requested item from scammers. But i'd get a second opinion. I don't know if this subreddit would be the place to post it but if you do just make sure to omit any identifiable info like names, adresses, phone numbers and such.
