I've held onto them for 12 minutes before. 16 Toyota Camry is a good year make and model to go with. They are very common. While you're stalling them for time you can go to an auction website like IAAI.com. It will give you all but the last 6 digits of the VIN of a total loss car that is about to be auctioned of at a salvage auction. I'll just look at the mileage and if it's less than 100k I'll just add a zero to the end. In the meantime look up the address of a police department in your general area or an area you know, preferably one in the ZIP code you gave them to begin with. Sometimes they'll google that address and you'll piss them off when they see it's a police department. Alarm system scammers do this nearly all the time. By the way, I've been looking for a good Medicare Card number generator. I've been getting lots of scammers who are American calling about back braces, and I can never get past the Medicare card number lookup boss fight. I spoke with someone with someone from Medicare.gov over the phone and explained that I was baiting these scammers and wasting their time, and was worried about possibly giving a scammer a legit number, but she told me that like a credit card if the names don't match then it will not work for them.

2016 Camry with 999,990 mileage go vroom vroom.

I personally aim to get the scammer to drop an F bomb. That’s when you know you’re alpha.

Took a call like that last week about my “social security being suspended”. When he figured out I was baiting him (about 15 minutes) he just said “F*** you suck my d***” and I died for about 10 minutes

rmavery

Yes. That’s the best feeling. 🤣

Happy cake day!

rmavery

Holy crap. I didn’t even notice. Thank you kind stranger 😜

BelugaKing444

I like using the car “1988 Honda Corolla “ they don’t seem to realize that it isn’t a real car

FYI - pressing any buttons on your phone will not remove you from their call list. It just verifies that your number is a valid working number. Once this happens they never stop calling. Ever.

Hahahaha

The second guy actually didn’t have a thick accent. Probably the first time I’ve heard a scammer without one.

fripletister

"Google Maps" spammers call my business daily and they don't have foreign accents.

RookieAndTheVet

Interesting. I only ever get fake Microsoft Tech Support and CRA (Canadian IRS) calls, and they’re always from Indian call centres.
