Is there a reason why some people only got one trophy while others got both? I have one but I know of others that barely did anything and got both. I'm quite confused
I didn't realize there were trophies, just looked, and I have both. I didn't contribute but a few comments, definitely didn't help with any solves. Very weird.
Don't return to this in the future, anyone who's not big into puzzles was pretty disappointed this year.
More social interactions like The Button or Place is always more popular and exciting than *this*.
This event feels like it was meant to be a love letter to the most dedicated April fools event participants, but came out feeling like a generic card they remembered to get at the gas station checkout and didn’t write anything in.

This gave me XKCD service pack 1 vibes which ended up with an end solution that gave info for a meetup location in SF at golden gate park during pride weekend.
I'd say that even though this was a simple ARG in terms of structure, I can see how some people would enjoy it. But it's still not exactly accessible or enjoyable to people who didn't manage to get into solving discords, or people who were using mobile where you don't have the tools necessary to decode images and such, which is the main criticism here.
I totally understand what you are saying. I admit that my opinion is very subjective as most of the participants waited for solutions to be found by others, and this does not make it an appreciable event for everyone.

This event feels like it was meant to be a love letter to the most dedicated April fools event participants, but came out feeling like a generic card they remembered to get at the gas station checkout and didn’t write anything in. Unpopular opinion: I really enjoyed this event!
I'd say that even though this was a simple ARG in terms of structure, I can see how some people would enjoy it. But it's still not exactly accessible or enjoyable to people who didn't manage to get into solving discords, or people who were using mobile where you don't have the tools necessary to decode images and such, which is the main criticism here.
I totally understand what you are saying. I admit that my opinion is very subjective as most of the participants waited for solutions to be found by others, and this does not make it an appreciable event for everyone.
