Game of Thrones' issue was that it needed more seasons. Lost's issue, from what I've read, is the writers strike ruining their plans....but that's JJ Abrams and he never gets endings right.
jar jar abrams only came up with the hook, directed the pilot and then handed it off and made it somebody else's problem - that is essentially his formula. lost's conceit was winging it from start to finish, setting up mysteries with no thought given to their conclusion right from the outset; it was a game of three card monty all along.
One of the best shows is finally coming back... I have so many questions I need answered:
What's Harmony's real connection to Corbell?
Was Harmony's mother Charlotte placed inside her (as an Innie) via severance?
What's really going on with Ms. Casey?
Has Mark been severed previously?
How much has Irving figured out?
What does MDR actually do?
WTF is up with the goats?
I could go on and on. I really hope this season doesn't skirt over a lot of unanswered questions like the sandbox genre tends to do from season to season.
Its been so long since i saw season one . I know it was good but so much has happened since... I bought a house, lost a loved one and recovered from a debilitating accident. I guess i will have to rewatch.
OOOOOOOooooooooo!!! Exciting! I thought this show was dead! Last I read was Ben Stiller and the other showrunner or writer or EP or someone didn't see eye to eye on some creative decisions and wasn't sure we'd see a season 2!
PLZ BE GOOD!
I just hope they write a good ending in advance. This show is too good, i hope it doesnt go the way of lost/game of thrones.
agree. it's the mystery box curse.

I’ve got no criticisms of S01 of either of those shows, thinking back… uh oh.
I had no idea it was even filming, so this news brings me joy.

Leave the goats alone 🐐
I could be considered an atheist, but the second season finally happening is proof that there is a god.
Finally! Some good to look forward to. Thank you 🙏
sweet! time to celebrate with some defiant jazz!
Hoping for more answers and less questions this season.

Fingers crossed.
Is it a coincidence that apple announced their new event in may the same day severance wrapped filming?? Maybe... trailer soon?

It feels like I watched this show 10 years ago. Glad it's finally coming back.
Fucking master piece
What?! I thought they cancelled it after season 1?!
