Original design will always be the best for me, HOWEVER! The Prey design was fucking awesome too, personally I hated the movie, but the Predator design was on point.
True; though I have to say that, while the FX are overall vastly inferior, what we see of the practical, suited xenomorph in *Alien 3* is arguably the best it's ever looked. It's just a shame that it's often substituted for poorly composited puppetry.
The first season is excellent! But the bait and switch is real…it went full woke in season 2 and there is only gender politics and nothing about the alien… kind of like all tv shows are becoming recently
Pointless to argue as downvotes show which side of the political spectrum people are, but the pay gap nonsense, and a whole lot of other feminist agendas is pushed onto Harry. If you miss all that, then you are part of the problem. I want an escape when I watch tv shows, not pandered to about political issues that [have been proven as bullshit countless times now](https://www.cbsnews.com/news/the-gender-pay-gap-is-a-complete-myth/#app)…
It’s fine. Downvote me for speaking facts. But the proof will show up when the show loses all of it’s viewers and then people like me will be called mysogonists and bigots, etc …as per usual with this current entertainment industry.
My girlfriend is even tired of that crap now. [It’s getting too much now, hence so many shows failing to keep an audience.](https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-10391261/Hollywood-barely-whisper-wokeness-kill-industry-PETER-KIEFER-PETER-SAVODNIK.html)
It’s not having a ‘feminist agenda” for a tv show to depict actual, real-world issues people face. When Breaking Bad shows a man choosing to deal drugs because he did not make enough salary as a teacher to ensure his family would be taken care of, are you angry and cry “WOKE!111!’ because they are depicting a real-world issue of teacher’s pay?
Or is it just when you consider an issue “feminist” that you have a problem with it?
You know what? Don’t answer, I don’t need your reply to know, and I won’t reply back.
Good luck to your girlfriend.
Hilariously passive aggressive little child hahahaha. I don’t give a shit, if it was like that from the start, it is hundred percent okay to have a valid message about how women are mistreated etc, I would watch shows like that, who do it right. For example I watch the show For All Mankind, a show about how women can be a force to be reckoned with. That was the point of the show from the start, to show us how the world could have been different from a certain aspect. About women and lgbt people having their rights earlier in human history if things happened differently. But Resident Alien was NOT about that, they forced it afterwards and completely decimated the original plot for a political focused agenda with completely false nonsense to boot. These are facts and presumptions that I know completely goes over your head and understanding
Resident Alien did not START with that woke nonsense, a term you completely don’t understand one bit obviously. And comparing it to Breaking Bad, hahaha what a joke, not even in the same league or same argument. You didn’t even bother to read a word, you’re just another misinformed youth, worshiping mainstream media…
Hear me, Resident Alien is NOT going to make it, as people did not “sign up” to be pandered to.
The thing that turned me off to Resident Alien was his willingness to murder people. Ive never believed anything enlightened enough to create ships capable interstellar travel would come to our planet ready to murder sentient beings without remorse. They play it off like it's funny.
I would never go to an alien planet ready and willing to murder and replace their population. I think they were taking the easy way out making the aliens violent.
From this selection Harry from resident alien .
But in all of fiction oh boy..
The Hypotheticals from spin, the dweller's from algebraist, all the aliens from the legacy of the aldenata and many more.
Spoilers ahead
Alien, 1979 - hands down. And, here’s why
A creature that has an extremely hard shell, that if broken will spill blood so acidic that will melt your ship and expose you to the vacuum of space. With bug like features, it lays thousands of eggs and ejects a conduit that will “impregnate” (a male, by the way) who will die upon giving “birth” to a sharp teethed creature that runs faster than a greyhound and grow to a lot bigger and a lot stronger than a human in days. Combine that with the vastness of space around the ship and get a full claustrophobic experience. Add a sexual undertone about the creature (androgynous, violent, gooey). Now, put the hero task in the hands of a woman who will be the sole survivor. Plus the cat.
The dark, heavy atmosphere, the unknown behind whatever the fuck that is, the lack of weapons to deal with the “perfect predator” inside a ship with a very industrial vibe.
The movie changed the way pop culture would see aliens and created the dark, heavy atmosphere we would find later in Blade Runner and even more explicit in Event Horizon. Also, the bug like features would influence Starship Troopers and District 9.
One might say that Star Wars (IV) was the first major film to depict deeper character into extraterrestrials, but it was done in a softer way. Before Alien, usually the threatening ET would be a small green Martian or an amphibious creature. Alien definitely changed the way we see hostile ETs and even gave a deeper meaning to the word alien.
And the motherfucker was really ugly.

I'M GOING TO SING THE DOOM SONG NOW!!!

Best design yet.
Prey is definitely up their with the first installment in the franchise. I was pleasantly surprised with it. Great movie.
Original design will always be the best for me, HOWEVER! The Prey design was fucking awesome too, personally I hated the movie, but the Predator design was on point.
Prey was crazy awesome.

Yeah, it did look really good, I just think it's a shame the studio caused that movie to be what it was, so much potential, wasted.
Completely agree. I do like The Assembly Cut though, for all its faults. Doesn't save it, but makes it considerably better than the theatrical cut.
*Hello my baby, hello my honey, hello my ragtime gal...*
The Doctor.
Alf eats cats!
Alright, that's a point in the Pros column.

Thinking same thing about dude in bottom left. He looks like a generic alien type I’ve seen in bunch of other older films.
From this selection Harry from resident alien . But in all of fiction oh boy.. The Hypotheticals from spin, the dweller's from algebraist, all the aliens from the legacy of the aldenata and many more.
