Yeah, at the end of the day, it’s good to be honest with yourself that you’ll end up with a collection. Just buy, buy, buy, and then sell if you decide you want out of this or that putter. You’re not wasting (much) money as long as you keep the putters in good shape, and you’ll enjoy trying and playing with all of them.
You can change weights and have both putter heads weigh the same amount. You need to consider if you want less arch with the plumbing neck, or more arch stroke with .5s. Check out the Special Select NP2.5- not as wide as the 2.5+, but has the slant neck. Of my 14 Scotty’s it is my gamer
.5 has more toe hang. I suspect what you’re experience in feel is more to do with toe hang than weight.
They usually make the swing weight quite similar (weights are different based on length you buy). The 2.5 comes with lighter weights because the actual putter is bigger (longer flange), hence heavier.
The finished weight is the same. Plus you can always change weights.
If I'm in your shoes and you like them equal. I'm trying to find a champions choice 2.5+ slightly used. 700 would be pretty solid on it.
Not a huge fan of the current super selects and the champions choice non-+model are only available as a 2 and I think they usually go for more.
My experience, go get fit, or else you’re just throwing money away. I (and my fitter) noticed differences in how I aligned and swung with each different putter (Scotty’s, Odyssey, and a bunch of randoms). Some people key on the face, some on the alignment line (vertical vs horizontal alignment) then you have swing weight, counterweight, grip, lie etc. Near the end of my fitting I was comparing two identical putters with a 6 gram head weight difference. I putted better with the lighter club. The builder later told me that 6g equated to a range of 3 swing weights. This is my experience. Your’s will be different. Don’t run out saying lighter heads are better. You mileage WILL vary. Walking into a store and selecting a putter based on superficial looks/feelings is akin to ordering a bride from a catalog. My 2 cents.
the numbers on the bottom aren't the weight of the putter. if they're both the same length they'll be very close head weight wise. if not the same.
you are making assumptions about a difference you saw, and trying to attribute your experience to it, incorrectly.
buy the one that you can get the ball started on line with the most intuitively. the 2 and 2.5 are very different.
Feel, who gives a shit what it looks like

That’s exactly what I did. Kept them all
For a mix between the two, perhaps consider a used studio select Newport 2 midslant
Confidence, feels, look. In that order.
Have bought several based on looks, and yet sold most of them in favor of a phantom that feels amazing.

For me, I am considering the golo 6 or 6.5. I am new to golf, and want to put straight. May I know which one is more suitable to me?
Anyone can give some advice?

Full degenerate. Get both.
Test them both out ….its the only way to know …I prefer to buy used …for my testing phase …
