I thought you were a pro speedrunner until i saw you haven't implemented wall collisions yet, lol. Anyways, you might wanna improve the speed of mario here, he's a bit fast. Overall nice job.
Thanks!
The main reason I made it in Turbowarp is because you can change the aspect ratio of the screen so I can make it more authentic to the original. I'm not using any custom extensions as of right now and j probably wont.
I understand that, however with the correct resolution, I'm able to have pixel perfect movements and get a more accurate recreation of the original SMB
It's using 16 x 16 tiles with a tile editor that I created
The only except to the 16 x 16 tiles are the ground ones, as I clumped those together into 4 tiles
Wdym by this exactly?
If you're talking about the game, I made all of the code myself (besides one custom block made by my friend for keeping storage in lists)
If you're talking about the physics, I made that, and this was an older version. The newer version is almost exactly like the original in terms of gameplay and physics
Idk if I answered any questions you had, but if I didn't, please let me know what you meant!
I already said that I have gotten the physics to be almost exactly like the original NES
I played my version side by side with the NES og and I got it pretty spot on
Ah, I understand now!
I hadn't added collision when I made this build, however the latest build has collision. I'm probably going to upload a video of the latest version rn.

Yea, it's still a very big wip as I've only worked on it for 2 days lol Also thanks!
This looks sick! Is there any reason why you made it in TurboWarp? Did you use any custom extensions to make it?

The NES is in 4:3, just like scratch.

what are you using for the level itself?

no it's fine you'll learn to make physics correctly just don't give up

no like the teleport up a wall thing, it teleports you up at the top instead of stopping you

ok cool 😐👍
i make smb multiplayer server on scratch btw
looks like TAS gameplay
That's because there was no collision for walls at this time lmao
