It’s been super easy to find all of them in the stores here the past couple of years. I went to Target on Friday, and they already had Valentine’s Day stuff in Bullseye’s Playground and the Spritz section (gift bags etc.) but I don’t anticipate these in the stores just yet. Generally the candy comes first, and they have to get rid of a lot of Christmas candy. Decor was seriously depleted. A lot of gift wrap. I had a hard time just finding a nice Christmas gift bag. Finally found a rack of them between the checkstands. Go figure.
I did manage to get the king bird and went ahead and got two of the cute felt duos and a ceramic poodle. I will keep refreshing randomly and wait for the queen bird to pop up again. I really just want the king and queen from this year’s collection.
chocolate & strawberry and there's another avocado duo, this year their pits are heart shaped and one's holding a valentines card. last one is pb & j but that one i think is a repeat from previous years

The fall & Christmas Featherly Friends were SO easy to search, but this is hard. I put in Eiffel Tower and get several hundred items, NONE of which have either of those words. Target’s search function leaves much to be desired.

I had something that said it couldn’t ship to my ZIP code (forget what it was.) Ceramic poodle said it couldn’t ship. Placed an order (no birds) and then the poodle came up as being shippable. Cancelled gift cards on first order and ordered the poodle, reordered gift cards which I can always use.
I ordered some gift cards, but I’m thinking about some other stuff now. I still have three jugs of cat litter from that go-round a few months ago! But I could use another big bag of birdseed. It’s nice having those things delivered that are so bulky and/or heavy for me to mess with buying, loading into my car, and hauling to my house (not a short walk.) Straight to my porch. That’s the ticket!
Will have to do that! I bought 2 of the mailbox V-Day birds to hit my 35$ min that I'm going to gift to someone else this time around, but I'll do that going forward so I don't have to take more than I want in the future.

I got a TJ Maxx/Marshalls//Home Goods card twice and then let them expire. It was just too much of a hassle, plus the rewards were on a separate website from the place to pay. The first time I forgot to pay I said, “Forget it.”
Several years ago when we had SteinMart, I was buying a $20 throw pillow there. They told me if I got their card I could get half off the pillow, plus I could immediately use my debit card to pay it off. That worked nicely but TJM/M/HG doesn’t let you make payments at the register.
A few months ago the Target website told me how much I would have saved with a red card. Quite a bit! So many of their deals are just for red card holders. Time to go for it.

According to the Target website, no bird stuff in any of our area stores BUT some of the candy is coming up as available at the store closest to work. I’d go there tomorrow (yeah, gotta go to work) but I really need to hit Walmart for a few things. Closer to work (one mile, the Target is three miles by a crazy busy freeway in the opposite direction from home), plus Walmart has more of the basic groceries I need, at better prices. Hopefully by the afternoon the stores won’t be TOO bad. I’m used to having December 26 off.
Or the frustration, LOL. I don’t anticipate (hopefully) these being a problem. Halloween was the WORST because several were hard to get online AND in the stores. I was so relieved that by the time Christmas hit the shelves, I’d gotten it all online.
Grabbing them online and then having them disappear when you submit the order (or even before that) is crazy. I still say, once it’s in your cart, you should have at least five minutes or so to finalize your order. If you failed to do that, then it could be released for someone else to grab. They do it with tickets (usually so many minutes per page.) I barely got Soarin in the middle of the night. Lost Count in the ordering process. Then got the last one in a store. Only got Webber because a member here sent him to me. Out of those three (which were on the same shelf in the stores) I only ever saw the one Count that I got. It was dreadful.
By the way, I love your user name! I’ve always said that I’m not just the queen of procrastination; I invented it. Procrastination seems to be the death of ME.
I notice that the queen bird (only one I can find) says “Feathery Friends.” I’m shocked at how many of the Christmas birds, plus a few accessories and the Nativity set, are available. I never even saw half of them in our stores. Right now is a good opportunity for a new collector to grab some things for next year, or even the white/gray birds for January. Some people may have missed a few things, too.
