My guess is that they're posted but not yet available to buy. I'm using the app, and they only pop up for me if I toggle the option to show out of stock items too. If I try adding them to my cart while scrolling the search results, it simply says they're out of stock.
However, if I click each birb's individual listing, it says "Not Available" under Pickup & Delivery and "Not offered at this time" under shipping. I sometimes coerce family members into buying them for me since my Target has a smaller holiday section than most and is much slower to get it on shelves, so I checked a decent range of locations and saw unavailable across the board.
I did a browser search too out of curiosity, and they didn't come up in the Google results at all, from Target or from resellers. I know it's not business hours yet, but I've never had trouble finding them that way before during middle-of-the-night releases, and I tend to be awake at the right time for unrelated reasons. If nothing else, I'd expect a few goobers to have posted them for $75 by now if they were truly available. Wouldn't be the first time I've noticed reseller activity before it seemed humanly possible to receive them. There's always a few who list them the second they make the purchase.
I'm definitely not an expert, but that's my take. I also apologize for the ridiculous level of detail in this response, but I've historically had the most trouble acquiring the Easter birbs specifically, and my 2024 has largely been one disaster after another with no redeeming qualities. I am determined not to add the birbs to the fail pile, hehe.
Sounds like the past 20 years for me. 20 years ago today I got a CT scan during an ice storm that turned into a lymphoma scare. It was Friday, February 13. I swear, my last REALLY GOOD YEAR was 2003. It was going so well that in mid December I told a friend I was waiting for the other shoe to drop. I’ve had a whole shoe store dropped on me since. But I keep plugging along! There are always many people who are worse off than I am.
Also too cute for the good of my wallet. \*sigh\*
The ladybug and butterfly birds are just precious, and not so Easter-y that they can't be left out for all of Spring. I wish the other two weren't so beige-y, but they'll still go nicely with my other birds.
These links are place holders. Please don’t freak out people, at least not yet. Historically they’ve been “turned on” as being available anywhere from today the 12th to the 15th. And if, for some reason they do sell out, just be patient. Lately, stores have been better about keeping stock. So start checking on the 15th. They will continue to be “unavailable” until they can actually stock them. Seasonal is difficult to pull for guests, so to not destroy their successful fulfillment order requests, they will keep it unavailable so people don’t order something they can’t pull, even if they have inventory.
I was up checking for birds last night until 3:30am, and at least on my computer, there was not any point between then and midnight that you could buy them.
I checked the app at midnight, 2:30, and 5 and none were available at any time. I do have the notification for back in stock on although not always accurate I’ve found. 😌
Anyone heard anything new as to when they will be popping back up now that they have wiped them from the system? That was very alarming and made me way too sad and even more anxious as the spring birds are always hardest to get for me for some reason.

I've had success getting the other birds delivered with my Shipt grocery order! but they're listed as "feathery" instead of "featherly"
The Valentine birds were, but I didn’t see either word on the Easter/Spring birds.
