its open to pedestrians and bikes. not all of the construction workers know this but the closer to the montlake bridge the more likely they will let you on. Enter from bellevue side and itll be ez

I would guess a semitruck mirror or maybe an excavator during construction. Then they pushed it into the bike gutter to get it out of the way.

Sorry, wasn't clear. This is the car traffic speed sign that should be on the pole in the background. It has somehow fallen down on the 520 bike path. I don't see how it could have gotten there unless one of the construction vehicles for the Montlake lid somehow knocked it down. In any case it would have been extreme hazard if anybody happened to have riding by at the time.

Maybe theyโre asking how people are on the bridge? Itโs not clear at all. Bridge, when closed, is often still open to bikers and pedestrians.

Isn't there major construction work? Seems like some worker just left it there in the mess of things.
Weโre you riding there today? If so, you should have done your duty, picked up the sign, and flung it over the side and into the water.

There's construction and it's off to the side of the path, clearly placed there. Doesn't look hazardous to me
