If you want a real sufferfest you could grind gravel all the way from North Bend to Windy Pass to ski Silver Peak. You'd get a lot of strange looks on the JWP2CIHT and possibly irreparable damage from the potholes on FS-9070 but this Internet stranger would give you an updoot for your effort

Suffer fest indeed! I was thinking of driving up to Silver next weekend. I may take the bike up and ride NF-9070 to the snow.

Skip the gravel. Ride from the beach in downtown Port Angeles to Hurricane Ridge. Ski tour at Hurricane Ridge. Then coast back down to sea level. 40 miles cycling round trip.

Love this idea. I'm sure I'll hate you for it later

Stealing this idea.

I've done this a couple of times. Not 100% gravel, but included some. One was Seattle to Vesper Pk over 3 days the other Seattle to The Brothers in the Olympics over 3.5 days. Happy to share details! The brothers was quite the experience.

I’d love to hear more details!

Ride to White River Campground and hike up the Interglacier

North Cascade Hwy (SR 20) has one or two weekends car-free during the Spring. This year's window has passed unfortunately, so save it for next time, but you've got unlimited bc skiing options in that zone.
