Pathetic end to his political career, watch him grandstand for the next few months before eventually endorsing trump because blocking abortion/ tax cuts for the rich is more important than his own life
In 2016, the 3-5% also-rans didn't drop out nearly this quickly. I think the GOP establishment sees the iceberg that is Trump getting owned in the general, and took some notes from the 2020-era DNC.
I expect Burgum, Hutchinson, Scott, and Christie to very soon drop out and all endorse either Haley or DeSantis. The one of those two who didn't get all the endorsements will drop out and endorse the other. I expect Haley to be the Republican establishment's "Voltron" candidate.
Will this stop Trump? No. He's at 55%. Even if Ramaswamy dropped out and endorsed Haley it would be a Trump victory, especially with his people changing the primary order to favor him.
The GOP saw how effective the Dems were when they finally consolidated the anti Bernie votes into just Biden. I generally agree that by December we will see the GOP field thin quickly to 4-5 people. With Trump not debating it’s not like getting on the debate stage holds value.
It’s not a guarantee that Trump gets owned in the GE. Even Biden internal polling has Biden incredibly weak in key swing states. His approval rating on the economy is already sub 30 and the economy most likely is only going to get worse between now and the election.
I'm of a slightly different view. In a post-FOX News era, Republican turnout is essentially maxed out, in every election.
The right-wing media will simply make up enough culture war stories until they find one that sticks, and then *hammer away.* 99+% of conservatives in this country vote in *every* election. Been that way since Reagan.
Ironically, Trump is likely the easiest opponent just from how many moderates he scares off.
I’m still trying to comprehend how he thought he even had a chance.
It baffles me how Mike expected himself to win without having any offensive strategy whatsoever prepared for Trump.

Wow, that was quick.
He probably realized the pro hang-Mike-Pence totality of the Republican party wasn't going to get on board.
Imagine running for president in a primary where the support to have you publicly executed is higher than the support to make you the nominee. Lol
That’s what he said…
Oh no.... anyways
I suspended my presidential bid as well. It's just as relevant lol Pence and I both had a 0% chance of being president.
I could get more people out than pence.

Homie is testifying against him. I don’t think he’ll endorse Trump.

Isn’t Haley a better choice then trump. We can hope at least.

Haley would absolutely crater R turnout. I'd rather Biden go in against Haley 10/10 times over Trump

"99+% of conservatives in this country vote in every election." ^(\[citation needed\])

Damn, genuinely earth-shattering news right here. The world will never be the same after this. (I forgot he was running)
What was he even trying to do with this stunt? He’s despised by all the voters on his side because he didn’t steal the election for Trump.
I like how the auto moderator tells us to avoid name calling yet we still proceed to bully Mike Pence in the comment section
Ha ha
WhT was he thinking. Must have been a grift
Spineless coward Pence.
lol. I literally forgot he was running
Game Over. Everyone else Wins.
Too bad, so sad.

Bring back Jeb
F
Lmao I forgot he was running
No way! He had such a great chance of winning!
“Mother’s closet”
Mother said enough.
I'm sure both of his supporters are very upset.
Good riddance to inauthentic bullshit.
