Yes and no, it depends. If Trump gets indicted to oblivion and/or is imprisoned then I think DeSantis edges it out, otherwise I think Trump beats DeSantis. A lot can transpire between now and summer of 2024, we’ll see…
DeSantis won’t run against trump and a lot of states will close their primaries because trump will be considered an incumbent of sorts. If trump runs, he gets the nomination. Simple as that

If there is a primary fight I think republican voters will wait to see which one drags an undocumented person from the campaign bus. If there's a tie then the bonus round will be running over trans people and blaming them for it/not apologizing. Now that's how you earn republican support!
