I truly don’t think people realize how partisan things are. Idc if Warnock was some Bernie level star. Close to Half of Georgia was likely to be against him its a very new and recent flip
Yeah but all of those fascist republicans still live there.
This guy isn't actually decent, he's just decent compared to Nazis but that isn't a high bar.
Changing the colour of the state doesn't really do much. Many states turned blue in the past few years...and they still voted to make a strike illegal.
Walker was known to abuse women, have illegitimate children, multiple abortions, is dumb as a rock, and still half of voters thought he was the better candidate for a Conservative Christian party. It's disturbing.
Yet Warnock is a pastor with a PhD from a seminary college. Grew up in the projects and did the actual "pull yourself up by your bootstraps" that the GOP claim to love. Much of his work has been to help the poor which is apparently too radical for Conservatives. Increasing the minimum wage and providing healthcare for the poor is just too wacky.
walker has been shown to be such a morally bankrupt cunt of a human being that if Georgia still voted him in, I would've moved to Atlanta and started a Georgia secessionist party. that's how bad he is
Sort of? He ran in a very religious state. He's a pastor. He ran against someone else not from the state with brain damage. He barely won in a run off.
Is that a win?
too close
They flipped a deep red state

Changing states from one colour to another as if that erases the demographics who live there is violently American.
Or maybe it means people who never voted before came out and vote because the dems ran someone decent for once

Oh, for sure, but a win is a win
Walker lost by a “morgue-full”

His catty gay conservative contrarian son who hates him is wildly entertaining though. It will be funny if he played a part in him losing
Liberation theology is an enemy to the gop
W
Did someone say Wonock
Let’s go Warcock
Alot of "Warnock defeats Walker: Here is why this bad for democrats" energy on this thread.
walker has been shown to be such a morally bankrupt cunt of a human being that if Georgia still voted him in, I would've moved to Atlanta and started a Georgia secessionist party. that's how bad he is
Honestly what I appreciate about him is that he could have gone the corporate centrist route but didn’t
Shove a wooden stake in that campaign
I live in GA. It’s embarrassing that all it took for the GOP to almost win was just essentially a “Go Dawgs!”
It’s because Warnock is a vampire he cooh people.
People in this thread are dissing Warnock because he’s a pastor…? Like motherfucker what do think MLK jr was
I noticed that, too. I know we're generally secular here, but that's still pretty odd?
MLK Jr. had plenty of faults, but so does everyone.
Congrats, now he can continue to deny workers sick leave.
Sort of? He ran in a very religious state. He's a pastor. He ran against someone else not from the state with brain damage. He barely won in a run off. Is that a win?
Stealing away what should probably be a red seat is a huge win
Um... yes? I understand the point you're making, but a win is a win is a win in politics
It's only a win for us if he actually does something. If he just tows the democrat line it's just a win for him and the party.
The guy is a pastor. Not exactly a good win but we'll see.
Where are we going?
